Dance Class Coming to Packwood House  8/3/2010 - 8/3/2010
Time: Beginning at 10:30 am
Location: The Packwood House museum located at 15 N Water Street in Lewisburg.
Information: On Tuesday, August 3, Packwood House Museum's next program in its series of free summer kids programs begins at 10:30am when Christianna Gula hosts a "Dancing the Cha-Cha"class for girls ages 10 and up. The Cha-Cha is a fun and upbeat dance that originated in Cuba. Ms. Gula will demonstrate the dance and instruct students on how to dance it without a partner. She will teach students how to warm up properly with some basic stretching and ballet techniques.
The teacher, Christianne Gula, is a student at Studio Brick in Danville and Enterline's Dance Studio in Milton. She is a 2009 graduate of the Barbizon School of Modeling and Design. Gula has competed in a dance competition at the International Modeling and Talent Association in New York City. She has danced in the annual Danville Spring Fling for the past two years and has choreographed drama productions for Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton. She hopes to open her own dance studio in the future.
So come join Christianne and learn how to wow the crowd with fancy footwork! Although this class is free, space is limited so please contact the museum at 570-524-0323 to make a reservation.
