The Bucknell University chapter of Habitat for Humanity will launch rubber ducks in Bull Run Creek as a fundraiser to benefit the work of the local chapter. Ducks can be sponsored prior to the race at either the Habitat table in Hufnagle Park or from the roving duck-sellers in town. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
3-4PM Bucknell Jazz Band
The Bucknell University Jazz Band offers students of all majors and academic interests the opportunity to experience modern and historically important literature in a traditional big band environment. Under the direction of Barry Long, performances both on and off campus throughout the year build upon focused ensemble rehearsal and concepts of improvisation. Members frequently have the opportunity to work with guest clinicians. Recent visitors to campus include Dave Douglas, Robin Eubanks, Bill Carrothers, Jane Ira Bloom, Billy Childs, and Don Byron.

Founded during the winter of 1982, this brass quintet is comprised of musicians from Central PA. Throughout the year, the group performs all types of music including ‘classical’ transcriptions, marches, folk, jazz, patriotic, pop, ragtime, religious, occasionally rock-and-roll, and Christmas. Don’t miss the unique sounds of this talented, local brass ensemble.
11:15AM-12:15PM Cloverleaf Cloggers
Clogging is an American dance form that has its roots in the Appalachian Mountains. A festival favorite, this 14-member group based in Selinsgrove has kept the heritage of clog dance alive in the Susquehanna Valley for over 25 years. The Cloverleaf Cloggers dance to traditional fiddle, country and western, rock-and-roll, rap, Cajun, pop, Irish, and bluegrass music.
12:45-1:45PM Pleasant Valley Dancers
Come watch them perform a wide range of dances that include ballroom, Latin, international folk!
2-3PM Downtown Dance
Downtown Dance (studio), located at 5th & Market Street in downtown Lewisburg offers classes to ages 3+ in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, & lyrical. Good luck to their performance team, competeing at Groove DanceCompetition in NJ this weekend! Go towww.downtowndance.org to learn more about their summer dance camps (ie. Princess Ballet) and to register for Fall classes.
