Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival (Updated With List of Events)

Join us for the annual Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival! Explore the incredible ice sculptures that are scattered around Downtown and participate in the many fun activities going on, such as the Polar Bear Plunge!

Friday, February 1
10:00 am, Ice Carving in Hufnagle Park. Watch the First Night Ice Carvers create giant ice sculptures in Hufnagle Park and in front of the downtown Federal Building. Giant sculpture and heart themed ice display sponsored by Evangelical Community Hospital.

4:00 pm – meet at the Market Street side of Hufnagle park to go on a Heart Healthy Hidden Lewisburg Walking tour, Sponsored by Lewisburg Neighborhood Corporation.

5:00 – 8:00 pm, Chocolate Tour, participating merchants in downtown Lewisburg, sponsored by Donald Heiter. Visit for more information.

5:30 pm, A Capella Concert, Bucknell University A Capella groups perform at the Campus Theatre, event sponsored by
B.A.C.E.S. a fully student-run international service-learning organization. Suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Saturday, February 2nd

8:00 am 12:00 noon, Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, 131 Market Street, serving all you can eat pancakes and sausage,
coffee, tea, milk and orange juice. Kids 0 to 4 free, 5 to 12 $5.00, 12 and over $8.00

9:30 am, Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Frosty 5K. Event starts at the historic Campus Theatre. For more information or

10 am -2 pm, Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Children’s Games, Hufnagle Park. FREE! Join Olaf and Elsa in the park for a day
of family fun!

1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Chocolate Tour, participating merchants in downtown Lewisburg, sponsored by Donald Heiter. Visit for more information.

2:00 p.m. Polar Bear Plunge, St. George Street Landing. Register on line at T-shirts
available while supplies last. On-Site registration begins at 12:30 day of the event.

3:00 – 5:00 pm, Chili Cookoff – at the Bull Run Tap House, 605 Market Street, sponsored Lewisburg Sunset Rotary

7:00 p.m. Annual Chocolate Festival to benefit the Donald L. Heiter Community Center, General admission tickets

February 1st & 2nd Helping Hands Fundraiser at the Lewisburg Children’s Museum, Leave your mark on the LCM by painting a handprint and signature on the hallway wall. Cost of participation is $20. Registration required at: Museum admission is not included.

Warm your Hearts at Brushstrokes, 340 Market Street. During the festival and Sunday noon to 4pm, drop off donated items and funds for local animal shelters and rescues.
